By creating an account or using Paper Animation, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Paper Animation is a web-based tool that generates animated newspaper-style clippings, magazine letters, press coverage visuals, and paper fold-out animations. You provide text or images, and the platform produces exportable video and GIF content.
You must sign in with a valid Google account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your account or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
The free plan lets you generate animations and export unlimited GIFs and videos with a repeating paperanimation.ai watermark across the frame. Two paid plans remove the watermark and grant unlimited clean exports: Creator at $3/month (cancel anytime) and Lifetime at $14.90 (one-time payment, never charged again). Prices are listed on the Pricing page and may change at any time, but Lifetime customers retain unlimited access regardless of future pricing changes.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing a subscription or Lifetime access, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on every purchase — Creator subscriptions and Lifetime. Email support@paperanimation.ai within 7 days of purchase for a one-click refund, no questions asked. See our Refund Policy for details.
You retain ownership of any text, images, and exports you create. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Deleting a saved project is a Creator/Lifetime feature. Free-plan accounts cannot delete a saved project themselves; contact us if you need one removed. See Section 7 for how your plan affects whether a saved project is shown publicly.
Visibility in our public Community gallery (paperanimation.ai/community) is a property of your account, not of any individual project. If you are on the Free plan, every project you save is shown publicly in the Community, newest first, alongside your display name and profile picture — this includes your entire saved history, even projects created before the Community existed. Work saved by Creator or Lifetime accounts is never shown in the Community.
This follows your plan automatically and in both directions: upgrading immediately removes your existing projects from the Community, and if a Creator subscription lapses or is cancelled, your saved projects become publicly visible again. There is no way to make an individual project private while remaining on the Free plan — deleting a project is also a Creator/Lifetime feature (see Section 6). The only way to keep your work out of the Community on the Free plan is to avoid saving it.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
We strive to keep Paper Animation available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.
Paper Animation is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
